The second service, which will be discontinued by Google on September 30th, is called Bookmarks. After it has not been able to be used on smartphones for a long time, its web version now also disappears.
It is a service that sets online bookmarks for users. But it has nothing to do with the browser bookmarks in which websites can be saved. So these remain as before. Google Bookmarks has been around since 2005. Users can also save websites in them and add labels or notes to them. who Google bookmarks open, you will also find marked places in it. These are not lost when bookmarks are switched off, but can still be found on Google Maps.
My Maps and Bookmarks are just two of the many services that Google has switched off over time. So far, Google has put an end to 232 applications including Google Hangouts, App Maker, Youtube Gaming or Google+.
