iPad Pro 2022: Small Apple tablet gets big feature

iPad Pro 2022: Small Apple tablet gets big feature

The big iPad Pro currently offers more than its little brother, especially in one aspect. This should change in the next year. According to the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the 11-inch tablet will then catch up with the 12.9-inch model.

At the end of April, Apple presented the new iPad Pro with the M1 chip in the 11- and 12.9-inch format that has been known for several years. However, the California company donated a special feature to the large tablet that would make fans of the small model jealous. As MacRumors reports, the usually well-informed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo announced an improvement for the iPad Pro 2022. The 11-inch model should therefore catch up again in the coming year.

iPad Pro 2022: 11-Inch Tablet also with a new Display

While the two tablets are already the same in many areas, the biggest difference is in the display. The screen in the 12.9-inch tablet is not only larger but also offers the new mini-LED technology. This allows, among other things, a significantly better contrast, which makes films and photos look better, among other things.

The current display technology of the 12.9-inch model will also be found in the 11-inch iPad Pro in the coming year. However, the analyst apparently did not provide any further details on the iPad Pro 2022 in the note to his investors. For example, there is no indication of when Apple could introduce the tablet. In the past, Apple liked to use an event in spring or autumn for the presentation.

Apple’s Future Tablet plans

A few weeks ago, however, Mark Gurman reported Apple’s various plans for the tablet. According to the Bloomberg reporter, the iPhone manufacturer is allegedly testing a case with a glass back. The iPad Pro is currently made of aluminium.

By using a glass back, Apple could also enable wireless charging in the iPad Pro 2022. The MagSafe known as the iPhone 12 could also find its way into the tablet.

In the somewhat distant future, we could also see iPads with displays beyond the 13-inch mark. A timely presentation is currently not expected.
